I never want to feel limited to buying cosmetics at my local grocery store or even Sephora. Sally's has been around for ages and I often forget that it too has cosmetic treasures inside. Products here are very decently priced and even though you might be unfamiliar with most of the brands that they carry, that doesn't mean that they don't work just as well or better than what you may already have at home. With only a little research, I've conjured up a list of just 5 products that continue to be their best sellers as well as the top rated. I've listed prices at their highest possible price, all of them can be cheaper if you are part of Sally's reward program. And for the record, this is just me giving out information that I think is interesting and helpful, this post is not sponsored and unfortunately no compensation was provided ;).
1. Palladio Wet & Dry Foundation: $11
When I see 'Wet & Dry' I think... cream. Although I haven't tried this, I am a big fan of cream foundation. Most people steer clear from cream foundation because they feel it will be "cakey", but Wayne Goss has taught me otherwise. It can achieve any type of coverage you are looking for (light, medium or heavy) and if you set it with a powder, it works for all skin types.
2. Retinol Eye Gel: $11
If you aren't aware of the AMAZING benefits of retinol then you are cray-cray. Seriously though, look it up if you don't know. This eye gel is said to "replenish moisture and increase cell renewal" which is exactly what you need to keep wrinkles at bay.
3. Ardell Lash & Brow Gel: $15
This one has totally surprised me. With how expensive lash accelerators are, it seems that nothing this cheap would work. However, as far as I've researched, this serum seems to have fans everywhere and not just at Sally's.
4. No Bump Rx Treatment: $9
I'm dying to try this stuff. It's formulated to eliminate bumps, ingrown hairs and razor burn from waxing, shaving and even electrolysis. I have the Gigi Waxing Warmer so the next time I go to grab some wax refill, this stuff is coming home with me too.
5. Argan Oil: $8
Helps to create shine and eliminate fuzz while helping to protect from damage. It's valued for its ability to regenerate and nourish dry and damaged hair. Helps reduce drying time and speed up styling time. Rich in fatty acids, Omega 6 and Vitamin E. I can't say if it works better than the amazing Moroccan Oil but when you combine the price for this and the positive reviews... I think it's worth a try.
